The Field Service Representative (FSR) has an understanding of Bell Type Model Series (TMS) aircraft systems, especially the OH-58D, and the complex relationships among these systems. The FSR is capable of obtaining a Secret security clearance. The FSR possesses knowledge, skills and abilities to support the operation, installation, modification, maintenance, fault locating and maintenance of aircraft systems and sub-systems. The FSR has access to product support engineering and logistics support as well as in-house design engineering support and related data. FSR services to be provided include the following:
Respond to requests for Technical Assistance
Provide technical assistance on technical support to requesting activities in support of operation, installation, modification, maintenance and troubleshooting
Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) for operation, installation, modification, maintenance and troubleshooting
This position will be located in Tunis, Tunisia for 12 months with an additional 6 month option.
The FSR is responsible for all routine maintenance, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair, as well as support of all operations and training of Tunisian Air Force technicians on all types of scheduled inspections and maintenance.
The FSR will be the main point of contact for any maintenance or technical questions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Field Service Representative shall:
Render technical support on the below aspects:
Perform routine maintenance and care of the helicopter in respect of the new/modified equipment
Perform diagnosis, trouble shooting and repair of new/modified equipment
Support all operations
Conduct OJT training for Tunisian Air Force technicians on all types of scheduled inspections of new equipment, maintenance and rectification of new equipment operation, maintenance, inspection and rectification.
Ensure transfer of knowledge on operation and maintenance to Tunisian Air Force personnel
Raise warranty for unserviceable items and expedite for quick arrival of items
Make helicopter equipment serviceable as quickly as possible
Assist Tunisian Air Force in carrying out the first major schedule inspections of the helicopter and engine, avionics and other equipment in addition to imparting training to Tunisian Air Force technicians
MMS Support or repair specialization
High school diploma or certificate of General Educational Development (GED) required
Minimum of ten (10) or more years experience in aviation maintenance
Experience in leading maintenance programs for Bell Helicopter military products
Experience working with foreign military services desired
Familiar with helicopter sub-systems, components, associated equipment and technical documentation systems
Must be A&P licensed
Must be able to read, write and interpret technical data
Must be able to work in the established living and working environment
Must have a valid U.S. Passport will ability to obtain a work visa in Tunisia
Must have an active Secret Security Clearance.
Other Skills and Abilities:
Act as the face of the company daily with the customer and report customer concerns and issues back to the home office
Liaison maintenance and operational problems which have been reported between the customer and Bell Helicopter as required
Demonstrate fluency in English, through both verbal and written communications

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently must supervise others while working in high tempo flight operations environment with high noise levels
