Oversee and direct information security activities to execute the information security program.
Ownership of the Information Security Plans and Capability Roadmaps.
Maintain and implement the information security change programme.
Build strong working partnerships within the Business Unit and leverage these relationships to ensure that all aspects of the security programme (risk, policy, standards, technical architecture / strategy etc.) are met and gaps identified and remediation plans put in place.
Develop an information security awareness strategy for end user training
Follow-up legislative requirements related to data privacy and other information related requirements
act as lead risk assessor
development and implement a risk management framework aligned to business needs.
Monitor the external environment and threat landscape to ensure risk requirements and control requirements remain relevant.
Plan, design and implementation of the risk management process.
Risk reporting at all levels of the business
Ensure that risk awareness is included in information security and continuity training
Business Continuity Management
Ownership of the business continuity plans
Ownership of Crisis management and operational response.
Establish and maintain a framework to provide assurance that business continuity strategies are aligned with business objectives and corporate guidelines.
Identify and control business continuity risks to achieve business objectives.
Develop (with business/department leaders) a business recovery strategy, to create and maintain a framework for implementing strategic objectives.
Develop a business continuity awareness strategy for end user training.
Build strong working partnerships within the Business Unit and leverage these relationships to ensure that all aspects of the continuity
Ensure compliance with the ISO 27001 (last version or applicable versions in the future).
Ensure compliance with internal company audits and external authorities, client audits.
ISO27001 Lead Implementer
CISM,CISA is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including professional document creation skills.
Strong analytical, planning and organisation skills.
Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence.
